Orange Egypt and the Public Prosecution launch new digital services allowing citizens to submit, track and pay legal requests through the My Orange app.

Cairo, Egypt – November 14, 2025

Orange Egypt has taken a significant step in supporting the country’s digital transformation by launching an expanded suite of prosecution-related digital services in collaboration with the Egyptian Public Prosecution. The new phase allows citizens to complete multiple legal procedures remotely through the My Orange app and the integrated Orange Cash wallet. The initiative is part of a wider national effort to modernize public services and reduce reliance on in-person visits to government offices.

The cooperation gives Orange Egypt customers direct access to a set of official services inside the My Orange app. Once users select the Public Prosecution Requests option, they can submit inquiries, follow up on legal cases and receive digitally issued documents.

All payments for service fees are processed using the Orange Cash wallet, which eliminates the need for citizens to handle paper forms or queue at prosecution buildings. According to officials, the goal is to save citizens time, lower administrative pressure on offices and ensure a more efficient flow of legal processes.

Expansion of Digital Prosecution Services

The newly launched phase covers a wide range of services. Traffic-related functions include checking violations, paying fines and submitting appeals. Family-prosecution services allow users to track case statuses, request inheritance documents and obtain certified extracts of official records.

Criminal-case services are also available, giving authorized individuals the ability to receive updates on rulings and download authenticated documents electronically. By combining these services with mobile payments, the Public Prosecution aims to create a unified digital pathway for routine legal procedures.

Hesham Mahran, CEO of Orange Egypt, expressed the company’s commitment to supporting Egypt’s digital-government vision. “We are proud to partner with the Egyptian Public Prosecution in this pioneering initiative, which represents a model of successful collaboration between government institutions and the private sector to serve citizens more effectively,” he said.

He added that Orange Egypt’s digital platforms are designed to help citizens complete essential tasks from their phones with accuracy and convenience. “This step reflects our contribution to the Digital Egypt strategy and expands the role of technology in making public services faster and easier to access.”

Officials from the Public Prosecution highlighted that the project is aligned with Egypt’s national digital agenda, which focuses on streamlining public-service delivery and improving access to judicial services across the country. They noted that the new platform strengthens transparency by allowing citizens to track the progress of their requests without needing to rely on intermediaries. The Public Prosecution also confirmed that more digital features will be added gradually to cover additional legal functions and administrative transactions.

With this launch, Orange Egypt is strengthening its presence in the public-services technology space and expanding its role beyond traditional telecommunications. The company expects more users to rely on the digital platform as awareness increases and additional services are introduced. Officials believe the partnership represents an important milestone in the government’s path toward a fully integrated digital ecosystem.
