FroggyTalk app, the fast growing platform for Africans abroad has secured €300,000 in a seed round led by the SI3 Fund of Shaping Impact Group, a Belgium-based impact-driven investment group. The investment will enable FroggyTalk to scale its international calling service while leveraging AI to build a robust and localized integration solution for the African diaspora across Europe.
Since November 2024, FroggyTalk has been a member of the We Are Changemakers incubator, where it has benefited from strategic mentorship, connection to partners in the Dutch social innovation ecosystem, and access to an impact-focused community of innovators. Support from Dutch New Narrative Lab (DNNL) has also been instrumental to FroggyTalk’s remarkable traction.
Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Oluseyi Akinnibosun, expressed his excitement about the funding round and shared:
“This investment is wind in our sails. With SI3’s support, we are moving from simply connecting people through voice calls to solving deeper challenges migrants face daily from documentation and legal support to financial inclusion and mental well-being.”

In addition, Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Henry Onyezi highlighted the technical value of the funding, stating:
