Egypt cybersecurity training has received a major boost as the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) expands specialized programs across 14 governorates through its nationwide Creativa Digital Creativity Centers.
The initiative, confirmed through Egyptian government communications and Arabic-language news outlets, aims to equip thousands of young people with hands-on skills in cyber defense, digital safety, and network protection. The training rollout forms part of Egypt’s long-term strategy to build a resilient digital economy supported by a skilled cybersecurity workforce.
National Push for Cyber Resilience
According to statements from the Egyptian Cabinet, the cybersecurity courses are being implemented across 14 governorates through the Creativa centers, which were established to develop digital talent and foster innovation among youth.
The training includes practical modules on securing digital infrastructure, preventing cyberattacks, and understanding modern threat landscapes. These programs are designed to help students and young professionals meet the rising demand for cybersecurity talent both locally and globally.
Officials noted that the expansion aligns with Egypt’s efforts to enhance digital capabilities across different regions, not just major urban hubs. By offering training within the Creativa network, the country is ensuring inclusive access to high-quality digital skills development.
