The Huawei HiRE6 initiative is taking a major step forward in Egypt by connecting certified young professionals with employment opportunities in advanced-tech fields. This year’s forum brought together more than 100 companies and over 60,000 certified youth.
At the event held under the auspices of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology and the Ministry of Labor and Employment, H.E. Mr. Mohamed Gibran emphasized that Huawei HiRE6 is a model of effective public-private partnership aimed at achieving Egypt’s Vision 2030 through human-capital development.
Dr. Ahmed Khattab, Director of the National Telecom Institute (NTI), noted that the partnership with Huawei Technologies extends over two decades and has already trained nearly 60,000 young talents through more than 160 Huawei ICT Academies.
Training and Certification Pathways
Huawei HiRE6 placed strong emphasis on equipping young Egyptians with digital skills vital for today’s job market. Participants received training in 5G, artificial intelligence, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and big data through the Huawei-NTI Egypt Talent Academy and more than 160 ICT Academies nationwide.
Mr. Dou Yong, Senior Vice President at Huawei Egypt, said the initiative demonstrates Huawei’s belief that investing in youth is key to shaping Egypt’s digital future. He added that the company’s long-term training efforts align with Egypt’s Vision 2030, which focuses on nurturing a generation of skilled and innovative professionals for the digital era.

Opportunities for Young Professionals
Huawei HiRE6 introduced a hybrid recruitment model that combined physical interaction with a month-long online job platform, enabling over 100 participating companies to connect directly with certified youth across Egypt. Major employers such as Telecom Egypt, Banque Misr, and the National Bank of Egypt offered roles in ICT, banking, and digital services.
Eng. Asmaa Serag, Executive Director of Huawei ICT Academies Egypt, said the initiative aims to position Egypt as a regional hub for digital talent by linking certified graduates with real job opportunities. She added that such partnerships strengthen Egypt’s technology ecosystem and boost youth employability.
